What's Life Like at 47?
Ok, so I'm 47. Yikes! I'm trying not to be stressed out about it, but almost 50 is a little daunting. But it's also not. Because I'm not having the crazy symptoms my mom had. Thank goodness.

I think many women my age feel pretty rotten: low energy, night sweats, terrible cycles, PMS. What do you do?

Many women over 30 are deficient in Progesterone, and are Estrogen dominant.

Here's a couple of things you can do to reduce your estrogen levels from the outside:

  • Stop using hormonal birth control, 
  • Kick to the curb personal care products that have ingredients that mimic estrogen--Parabens, Phthalates, and Benzophenones 
  • Start buying organic foods where possible (who knew glyphosate was a hormone distruptor?) 
  • Filter your water of xenoestrogens. Here's my favorite water filtration system.
Reducing your toxic load is vital to good health. I'm super careful about the products I use on my skin, in my house and the things I put in my mouth.
